Mission StatementThe FoodBase Group
is part of Jetro's commitment to the continued success of our retailers. The
FoodBase Program is designed to assist independent retailers in all facets of their
business, helping them improve both sales and profits. Support services include
assistance in marketing, advertising, operations, merchandising, cost controls, and
buying.
History
The FoodBase Program began in Jetro's Canarsie warehouse
early in 1995, when 20 independent retailers joined together to reduce advertising costs.
Since that time the program has expanded to include 9 Jetro warehouses serving over
500 retail stores in 6 states across the USA.
